This page will be regularly updated with the most up-to-date information from local Colleges and the Department for Education as we hear about it.
The Young People’s Service website provides lots of information about advice and guidance services and how young people can be supported with decisions in the local area – particularly under the current situation when our students cannot visit colleges or workplaces in the normal way.
We know that all of you have already applied for Sixth Form Colleges but if you have changed your mind or want advice most local Sixth Form Colleges are still taking applications.
If you would like further support with Year 12 choices The National Career Service is available to help Year 11 students via telephone or webchat.
RAF
For any of our Year 11 that expressed an interest in the RAF; or are still unsure of what avenue they wish to go down, the RAF recruitment doors are very much open. Please click this link to a video which may be of interest.
RAF are still actively recruiting across multiple apprenticeship roles for Year 11 leavers will be eligible to apply for immediately utilising mock GCSE grades.
They also offer a range of apprenticeships where no GCSE passes are required.
