The 2025 cohort results include 139 students who, together, achieved well across the ability range and demonstrated progress on the cohorts before them. This includes an increase of average Attainment 8, and a sizeable increase in the number of top grades with 117 Grades 7-9.
This was an inclusive year group, with 12% of students speaking English as an Additional Language, 14% of students with SEND needs, and 23% eligible for Pupil Premium funding. The year group also included 55 (40%) students who were new to the UK joined the year group after the start of Year 7 and 12 (9%) after the start of GCSE courses. All students were affected by the pandemic in their earlier studies, including not completing their Key Stage 2 SATs exams, meaning we are not able to calculate Progress 8 scores or show results broken down by prior attainment for this year group.
We wish all students from the Class of 2025 well in the future.
